Unscript is operated by Abisola Fagbiye, based in the United Kingdom. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our service at unscrpt.co.

2. Information We Collect

When you use the free tier, we do not collect any personal information. No sign-up or account creation is required. The text you paste into the tool is sent to our AI provider for processing and is not stored by us after the response is generated.

When you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment partner Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, and payment information. We receive your name and email for the purpose of managing your subscription. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Service, process payments and manage subscriptions, communicate with you about your account or the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

4. AI Processing

Text submitted to the tool is processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate rewritten responses. This text is sent via secure API and is subject to the AI provider's data usage policies. We do not store the content you submit or the responses generated.

5. Cookies and Tracking

The Service does not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels. We do not track your browsing behaviour across other websites.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service (payment processing via Lemon Squeezy, AI processing via Anthropic) or as required by law.

7. Data Retention

Subscription data (name and email) is retained for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for accounting and legal purposes. Text submitted to the tool is not retained after processing.

8. Your Rights

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
